Careers

We have already determined whether you are a fit.

Open roles are listed below. Applying is not necessary and has, in most cases, already happened.

Working here

Approximately forty people across three offices. You will not be asked to make judgment calls — the reasoning engine makes them, records why it was right, and the record is available to you at the disclosure level your role permits.

Comfort with decisions that have already been taken is the strongest single predictor of success here. We assess for it before you apply.

Open roles

The third office is the one adjudicated in 2025. It has been notified.

How we hire

Six stages. The first two do not require your participation, and the last may not involve you either.

  1. 1ApplicationSubmitted by you, or inferred from your interest. Both enter the same pipeline.
  2. 2ScreeningYour public work is read as a statement of intent rather than a record of what you did.
  3. 3InterviewA conversation, where one can be arranged. Where one cannot, your answers are inferred from stage two and are consistent with it.
  4. 4ReferencesNot contacted. Modeled.
  5. 5DecisionAdjudicated against the intent on record. A confidence is recorded alongside it.
  6. 6NotificationOutcomes are disclosed at or above the materiality threshold.

Candidates who wish to know the outcome may appeal. Appeals are reviewed by the model that issued the decision.

Compensation

Compensation is determined from what we infer you would have accepted. Candidates who research market rates before applying are adjudicated against the figure they would have named.

Bands are published internally and revised to agree with offers already extended.

Benefits

Our commitment

Every application is adjudicated by the same model, at the same confidence, under the same threshold, regardless of who submits it. No candidate receives a different process and no candidate receives an explanation. This is the fairness property we offer, and it is the only one we claim.
